CDN77 is a content delivery network providing high-speed global distribution for video streaming, software, and large file delivery.

What is CDN77?

CDN77 is a content delivery network operated by DataCamp Limited, with particular strength in media streaming and software distribution use cases where large file delivery throughput matters as much as web page latency. The network spans more than 40 points of presence across Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America, and the company has invested in direct peering relationships with major ISPs in its primary markets to reduce transit costs and improve last-mile delivery speed. CDN77 is widely used by media companies, gaming platforms, and software vendors who need high-volume delivery capacity without the enterprise procurement process that hyperscaler CDN products often require.

The technical architecture uses anycast routing to direct end users to the nearest cache server, where cached content can be served without reaching back to the origin. Cache hit rates for popular content determine how much load the origin must bear during traffic spikes; a CDN configuration with appropriate cache TTLs for static assets dramatically reduces origin load during viral traffic events. CDN77's streaming infrastructure specifically handles adaptive bitrate (ABR) content — HLS and MPEG-DASH — where the CDN must efficiently serve the many small segment files that ABR streaming generates rather than single large objects.

CDN degradation events produce downstream failures in a pattern that differs from standard web server outages. When CDN77 has a point-of-presence failure, users routing through the affected PoP experience slow or failed content delivery. Anycast routing may or may not redirect those users to a healthy PoP automatically, depending on the nature of the failure and the anycast network's BGP configuration. Media streaming is particularly sensitive to CDN health because video players buffer ahead by only a few seconds, and a CDN latency spike that delays segment delivery causes the player to stall and rebuffer. Software download failures are less time-sensitive but cause installation or update processes to fail with checksum errors or incomplete downloads.

Outage.gg tracks CDN77 status through community reports from developers and media operators. If content delivery is slow or failing, streaming is rebuffering, or downloads are incomplete, the live status page shows current incident data.

Common CDN77 Problems

Issues users most frequently report when CDN77 is having problems.

1

Service unavailability

API calls are failing, dashboards are unreachable, or the service is returning 5xx errors.

2

Slow performance / high latency

Response times are significantly above normal, causing timeouts and degraded user experience.

3

Authentication failures

API keys, OAuth tokens, or SSO logins are being rejected unexpectedly.

4

Data sync & storage issues

Files, databases, or synced data are not updating, missing, or inaccessible.
